For the unparalleled taste of Gulden Draak Classic, they use secondary fermentation with unique wine yeasts. The wine yeast brought from the Bordeaux region by Jozef Van Steenberge in 1985 ensures that Gulden Draak remains very drinkable despite its strong character. De Gulden Draak won the gold medal at the recent International Beer Challenge (IBC) in London, demonstrating its strength within the beer landscape.
