The brewery is proud to present their new Trappist! The Chimay 150 was first brewed in 2012, in a limited edition, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the brewery.

Chimay 150 is a refined and refreshingly strong blond beer with a balanced taste, a floral scent and aromas of dried fruit and herbs. The Trappist beer has an alcohol content of 10%. The beer is made with a mixture of two hop varieties, Saar and Hallertau Mittelfruh: both hop varieties are known for their high quality and finesse. Its unique flavor is also the result of a secret spice added to the recipe.

Moreover, this beer is the culmination of the experience of several generations of brewers who have succeeded each other for more than 150 years at the Abbey of Scourmont.
