This unique beer was created at the request of the 'Oostendse Bierjutters', a cool group of enthusiastic beer connoisseurs. What would become a one-off brew as a result of the festivities has grown into an icon for Ostend that has become indispensable.

The combination of French & German malts both provide a full-bodied aftertaste. A selection of 4 fine hop varieties from Germany, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and Belgium provides a subtly balanced nose. Careful refermentation in the bottle ensures a firm, creamy head.
